The driver presets following distance then sets boat trip speed using the boat trip control function. If someone in front of you speeds up, you will also speed up to the preset speed. If someone in front of you brakes or reduces, you will reduce as well. Some systems allow the driver to resume control, and some systems will bring the vehicle to a complete stop if necessary.
