The Elite i20 has a powerful engine and would give its competitors a run for its money. The Petrol engine is powered by an impressive 1.2 Liter Kappa Engine which churns out 82 BHP at 6000 RPM. The petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission and takes 13.5 seconds to achieve 100 km/hr. The diesel engine is powerful as well and is run by a 1.4 Liter CRDi engine which is mated to a 6 speed transmission. It takes exactly 11.9 seconds for the Elite i20 to rev up to 100 km/hr. which is the best performance figure in the segment.

The interior of the car is ergonomically designed keeping the mind the comfort of the driver and the passengers as well. The car boasts an automatic A.C control, a huge boot space and an Engine start/stop button.
