The Elite i20 has a powerful engine and would give its competitors a run for its money. The Petrol engine is powered by an impressive 1.2 Liter Kappa Engine which churns out 82 BHP at 6000 RPM. The petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission and takes 13.5 seconds to achieve 100 km/hr. The diesel engine is powerful as well and is run by a 1.4 Liter CRDi engine which is mated to a 6 speed transmission.
